The excreta from animals resulted in huge environmental pollution,in which wastes from piggeries are the largest contaminated sources.With the development of aerobic composting techniques,wastes from piggeries could be substantially reduced,detoxified and reused.This paper mainly reviews some factors that affect the aerobic composting process for the wastes from piggeries,such as temperature,bulking agents,moisture content,aeration ways,microbial inoculations etc.
